When do I need to book my cake?
Orders for wedding cakes are best placed 6 to 12 months in advance to secure your required date as I am especially busy during the summer months.
I may be able to fulfil short notice orders subject to availability.
A £50 non refundable deposit will secure any available date with the details being confirmed 4 to 6 months prior to your wedding.
Orders for celebration cakes should be booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment as I am often booked up 8-12 weeks in advance, but again I may be able to fulfil short notice orders subject to availability.
A £25 non refundable deposit will secure your required date.
How do I book my cake?
Bookings and inquiries can be made via telephone (10am-6pm), e-mail or by filling in the contact us form.
How do I pay for my cake?
Once the details of your order have been confirmed a £100 deposit (less any booking fee) will be required with the balance payable at least 3 weeks prior to your wedding.
A deposit is fully refundable within 14 day of placing your order.
In the event of a cancellation where the cake has been paid in full and a minimum of 14days notice has been given, the balance less the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 14days prior to your wedding will be refunded at my discretion and will be subject to any preparation works already undertaken for your cake.
A £25 deposit is required once the details of your order have been confirmed with the balance payable 7days before the event.
In the event of a cancellation where the cake has been paid for in full and I have been given at least 7days notice, the balance less the deposit will be refunded subject to any preparation works already undertaken.
How do I store my cake?
All cakes should be stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight and on a flat surface.
Never store your cake in the fridge and keep away from direct sources of heat.
Sponge cakes are best consumed within 3 days of delivery/collection.
Do you deliver?
I offer free delivery within a 10 mile radius. Deliveries further afield are available at an additional cost, please contact me for a no obligation quote.
I would recommend having your cake delivered, those who choose to collect their own cake do so at their own risk and The Cake Cupboard cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake once it has left my possession.
